“ Everything about Wandera is impressive! Knowing that John hand-built this craft in a big shed on his property I was stunned by the quality of his workmanship. The finishes, the storage spaces, the cabins, the sheer size of the vessel, the height of the mast, the compactness of the galley, the on-board equipment — all a great deal for this 'landlubber' to take in. I had to take photos of Wandera for this website and John said that I would better appreciate the boat if he took me for a cruise. Once I found my sea legs and felt the salty air rush about my face I began to enjoy this great new experience. Impressive also was watching John scamper about the craft hoisting sails, pulling on ropes, winding winches, checking this and that, while giving me a run down of the various instruments and explaining the navigation rules. I thoroughly recommend a cruise on board Wandera to everyone . . . and I believe I may just have to go out again to take more photos! ”
